The Accademia dei Maestri, a project born from the Ermenegildo Zegna Group’s passion for excellence, is dedicated to preserving unique craftsmanship that is the foundation of Italy’s tradition of “beauty done well,” and to passing down invaluable expertise across all disciplines within the Group.
By focusing on the development of cross-disciplinary skills, the Accademia encourages knowledge-sharing through tailored, hands-on, and interdisciplinary learning programs. The goal is to further enhance mastery across different fields and foster dialogue between generations.

While firmly rooted in the Ermenegildo Zegna Group’s heritage, the project blends tradition and innovation, and is based on four main areas of expertise (Skill Factories) across the entire path of value creation: from artisanal fabric and textile manufacturing to sustainable innovation in creativity and product development, to personalized client experience management to strategies for business excellence.

This Skills Factory is grounded in the Group’s renowned expertise and heritage in craftsmanship, from textile and fabric creation to manufacturing and integrated supply chain while also exploring industrial research and development.
Mastery of Design & Product Development
This Skills Factory considers all aspects of creativity and design, from concept to final creation, as parts of a synergetic whole. Pioneering new ways of interpreting craft and luxury: from the product to the collection presentation, made-to-measure and bespoke tailoring, as well as visual merchandising and store planning.
Mastery of Experience & Delight
This Skills Factory delves into a bespoke approach and personalization through meticulous attention to detail, emphasizing the uniqueness of the client relationship and luxury experiences aligned with the Group’s values and identity. This includes aspects such as merchandising, buying, in-store experiences, and clienteling.
